FAQ’S

Frequently asked questions regarding SDS

Why do I need an SDS for my eliquid?

In Europe the CLP regulations require you to have an SDS for any hazardous chemical mixture or substance.  Until you know your recipe at a molecular level you will not know whether there are any hazardous chemicals present, even in 0mg short fill products.

Do batteries need an SDS?

In short, No they don’t.  Vape devices are not classed as a mixture or substance and do not require SDS, unless they have an eliquid contained within a kit.

Can you provide SDS within 24 hours?

Yes as long as you have your full CAS breakdown available at the time of ordering.

What languages are available?

We can author SDS in English, French, German, Polish, Spanish, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Swedish and Greek.

Do you run courses to teach SDS authoring?

Unfortunately not.  SDS authoring requires a strong understanding of the CLP regulations and this is not something that we can condense into course format.

Do you have a solution for SDS for North America?

Yes, we can author SDS in the OSHA format which is required for the USA.
